Academic Program

During the four-week Academic Program students from all around the world attend one or two interesting academic courses taught by international and Dankook University professors, for which you can earn transferable credits. During the week after classes and on Saturdays, you'll get to participate in exciting after-class activities and field trips like K-pop dance workshop, Taekwondo, Temple Stay, and many more.

Course Details

Course Details
Days	4 days/week, Monday through Thursday, no classes on Fridays
Times	Morning class 9:00am-12:00pm Afternoon class 1:00pm-4:00pm
Hour	3 hours/day x 15 days = 45 hours/course
Offered courses	Course list will be available from December 2024. See 'Course Info' The course selection deadline is April 30, 2025. Course selected by fewer than 10 students will be canceled. In case of course cancellation, applicants will be notified by email in early May so they can select a different course.
Credit	See 'Course Info' 3 credits/course Students can take up to 2 courses
Credit transfer	To transfer credits, students are advised to consult with an academic advisor at their home university and obtain pre-approval to receive credits for coursework from DKU.

Optional Cultural Activities

Cultural activities will follow classes almost every day and on Fridays and some Saturdays.
Detailed information about activities will be given during the program orientation.
Activities are not included in the program fee.
You'll be able to select and pay for the activities you want to participate in during the program orientation.
