The Korean Immersion Program (KIP) is a three-week Korean language program where participants will be completely immersed in Korean language and culture by taking intensive Korean classes and joining various interesting cultural activities to learn all about Korean culture.

Korean Language Course
Days Monday through Friday, 5 days/week
Times 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Hours Total 45 hours of classes
Placement test On the first day of class
Credit 3 credits
Credit transfer To transfer credits, students are advised to consult with an academic advisor at their home university
and obtain pre-approval to receive credits for coursework from DKU.


Optional Cultural Activities
  • Cultural activities are optional. 
  • Activities will be held on weekdays after classes.
  • Students can select and pay for activities during the program orientation.
  • The NANTA musical, Seoul Sky & Ice skating, Kimchi making activity are included in the program fee.
