The four-week Academic Program (AP) brings together students from around the world to take one or two engaging academic courses taught by international and DKU professors, with the opportunity to earn transferable credits. Outside the classroom, the program offers a variety of exciting after-class activities and field trips. With activities like K-pop dance, Taekwondo, and Temple Stay, participants are able to experience Korean culture and enjoy an unforgettable summer.

Days 4 days/week, Monday through Thursday, no classes on Fridays
Times
  • Morning class 9:00am-12:00pm
  • Afternoon class 1:00pm-4:00pm
Hour 3 hours/day x 15 days = 45 hours/course

  • Courses with fewer than 10 enrollments are subject to cancellation
  • In case of course cancellation, applicants will be notified by email in early May so they can select a different course

Credit transfer To transfer credits, students are advised to consult with an academic advisor at their home university and obtain pre-approval to receive credits for coursework from DKU.

  • Cultural activities will follow classes almost every day and on Fridays and some Saturdays.
  • Detailed information about activities will be given during the program orientation.
  • Activities are not included in the program fee.
  • You'll be able to select and pay for the activities you want to participate in during the program orientation.
